Dr. Tenney joined our practice in 1984 upon graduating from Cornell University. She met her husband, Gerry, a beef cattle farmer, while on an emergency call one night. They raise Charolais cattle and Percheron draft horses on their farm in Westerlo. |
Dr. O'Loughlin graduated from Cornell University. She joined the Delmar Animal Hospital staff in 1998. She currently shares her house with her husband, Mike, and their "kids"-
two dogs and 5 cats. When not treating her patients, she can be found on a golf course (weather permitting), working in her
garden, or running for Team in Training. |
Dr. Bull first worked at the Delmar Animal Hospital as a high school student after school and
on weekends, helping with animal care and cleaning. She graduated from Cornell University with her DVM degree in 1992. She came back "home" to the Delmar Animal Hospital in 1994. Her family shares its home with a
Brittany and a golden retriever, and one
cool cat named Hobbes. |
Dr. Stuart Lyman, a backbone
of the practice since 1974, continues to
serve the large animal clientele and
provides niche surgical care for small
animal patients. He also
provides caring crematory services. |

National Veterinary Accreditation Program The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) established the veterinary accreditation program in 1921 so that accredited private practitioner veterinarians could assist Federal veterinarians in controlling animal diseases and facilitating the movement of animals. The mission of the National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP) is to ensure the health of the nation's livestock, pet and wildlife populations and to protect the public health. The United States depends extensively on accredited veterinarians to carry out many of its animal health programs and services, including animal inspections, testing and certifications. Accredited veterinarians serve as the first line of defense in ensuring the health of the nation's animals and that the transport or export of our animals will not spread diseases into other states or countries. Category 1 Accredited Veterinarians can certify companion animals for domestic and international movement. Category 2 Accredited Veterinarians can certify companion and food animals for domestic and international movement. All of our veterinarians are accredited: |
